Veal steak, sliced from the "nut" of the thigh of a young animal no older than 8 months. The meat comes from so-called "milk" calves, whose diet is based on breast milk, for a softer and more delicate flavour. The meat is already prepared for kitchen use and does not need to be cleaned or cut into pieces. It is suitable for steak or grilling, and is a favourite ingredient for the classic Viennese schnitzel.

Usage
Veal steak can be used to make classic Viennese schnitzel, or with fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, sage, parsley) or with bacon, mushrooms or cream.
