Csurgói rétes sheet 6 sheets

The rétes sheet is made from wheat flour, drinking water, vegetable oil, glucose syrup, table salt, using preservatives. It is a floury white or light brown colour, smooth, free of bran particles, slightly floury to the touch, not dry, not sticky surface product. Thin, approx. 40x40 cm rolled out dough sheet. 

Contains gluten and wheat.

Suggested use

1. For one roll of rétes, you can use two or three rétes sheets as you like
2. Place the first sheet on the pastry board and spread it thinly with melted fat using a pastry brush
3. place the second sheet on the first one and grease it in the same way

• for making lasagna

In the exceptional case that the rétes sheets are a little dry, moisten a tea towel, then wring it out very tightly, and make the rétes on that damp cloth.

Storage

Store in a dry, cool place, at 2-8 °C.
