Usage

For making and flavouring syrup, lemonade, hot drinks, mulled wine, slush drinks, cocktails, shakes, yoghurt, ice cream, cakes, desserts.

It is important to emphasize that the fruit content in Nektária syrups is provided by the eponymous fruit puree, not juice concentrate.

In the case of fruit juice concentrate production, the concentrate is produced by physical intervention involving heat and chemicals to remove water and thicken it. Thanks to the technology used, the fruit loses a very high percentage of its intrinsic value, the vitamins.

The Nektária family business does not work with concentrate, it has its own fruit processing plant. They process fresh, Hungarian, ripe fruit seasonally, from which they make valuable fruit puree. Depending on the fruit, they use 1.5-2 kg of fruit to produce 1 kg of fruit puree. Thanks to the use of ripe fruit in their syrups, they have a high fibre content that is rich in vitamins and nutrients.  Moderate consumption has a beneficial effect on supporting our health.

Producer information

Their family business, the Nektária Manufactory, was founded in Fejér County in 2012. They make their healthy, domestic, premium quality products with a gentle process, largely locally, from the vegetables and fruits of local producers. Their company currently provides or contributes to the livelihood of 20-25 families directly. Their employees and partners consider sustainable farming, operation and the protection of our climate to be of paramount importance.
