Producer information

It all started in the 1800s when David Sprüngli opened his small confectionery shop in Zurich. Thanks to Sprüngli's entrepreneurial spirit and passion, the business quickly grew. One Friday, he forgot to turn off the conching machine in the factory overnight. So the machine ran all night and all weekend. The chocolate that Lindt found there the following Monday was wonderfully smooth and tasted like never before. Chocolate was changed forever and became world-famous.
