Almost everyone knows the characteristic taste of Kiskunfélegyháza mustard. It is an indispensable companion to New Year's Eve sausage platters, fried sausages, grilled meats, but it also holds its own in more elegant salad dressings and sauces. Vegan.
Use - Mustard and dill roast pork
Ingredients: 4 slices of pork neck, 6 tbsp. KIS-KUN Mustard, 1 bunch of dill, 4 tbsp. granulated sugar, 1 zucchini, 1 eggplant, 3 carrots, 2 parsnips, 1 celery root, 4 white mushrooms, 4 brown mushrooms, 2 red peppers, 3 sweet onions, 2 spring onions, 10-15 small potatoes, salt, olive oil
Preparation
- Mix the mustard, sugar and finely chopped dill. Place the meat slices in it and put it in the refrigerator to marinate overnight.
- Wash the vegetables and cut them into kitchen-ready pieces if necessary. Put it in a baking tray. Salt and drizzle with olive oil. Cover the baking tray with aluminum foil and steam at 180 degrees until half cooked. Then remove the foil and continue baking on a fan-forced setting until the vegetables brown.
- Put the meats in a pan with the sauce. Add a little water and steam under a lid. Constantly add water during steaming so that it does not burn. When the meat slices are steamed, remove the lid and boil away the excess juice to get a pleasantly thick sauce. Pile the finished meat and vegetables on a plate. If desired, you can sprinkle with a little chopped dill or pour a little of the sauce over the roasted vegetables when serving.
