One of the most beautiful flowers that bloom in early spring is the daffodil, whose light petals offer a truly refreshing sight after the grayness of winter.

But you can also leave it in the pot until its leaves wither. Then carefully lift the bulb out of the soil and store it in a dry, cool, dark place. Plant it again in the fall.

The number of its varieties is almost endless, we can find among them very small, small-flowered, and of course tall, full-flowered varieties, which play in white and shades of yellow.

Use

It opens quickly in the heat. Water the plant regularly while it is flowering. Keep the soil moist at all times, but avoid stagnant water. Cut off the withered flower together with the flower stem, but let the leaves turn yellow. After flowering - when there is no more frost - plant the plant in the garden or on the balcony in a larger pot.

Storage

Store between 0-10 °C, in a non-dry room.
