Crocus (Crocus) is a perennial plant belonging to the iris family. Crocuses, which reach a maximum height of 10 cm and come in vibrant colours, are among the first to signal the arrival of spring.

Interesting facts

Its funnel-shaped, striped, yellow, purple, and white flowers bloom in late February and early March. Planted in groups, they can be early decorations for perennial beds and rockeries, but they can also be planted under shrubs and trees with sparser foliage.

Use

Crocus is a grateful plant that does not require much attention and can multiply beautifully even with relatively little care, provided it is given a light location and loose, sandy soil.

Storage

Store at 0-10 °C in a non-dry place.
