Hyacinth 3 onions white 12cm

The hyacinth leaves are long, usually about three cm wide, fibrous and juicy. The flower stalk can often be 35-40 cm long.

It blooms in spring, and its colours range from white, yellow, pink, reddish-red, blue to purple shades. It attracts attention with its intoxicatingly delicate fragrance. It has a racemose inflorescence, and there can be a hundred or more flowers on the raceme. The flowers are bell-shaped.

The purchased plant must always be replanted in order to survive in the apartment in the long term. We recommend replanting them in a larger pot or box so that they feel comfortable in the heated apartment and do not wither. It is important not to forget to spray (with water)!

Use

It prefers well-drained, humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil and a sunny or semi-shaded location. Its bulb will rot in wet, damp soil. It is frost-hardy, and a winter rest period is essential for its development. It cannot be grown in mild, warm climates.

Storage

Store at 15-20 °C in a non-dry room.
