Surprisingly fresh, lively, with a grape blossom scent, its flavour reveals the fruity notes of grapes. Its colour is a pale dawn.

Serving suggestion

It is specially recommended with cottage cheese strudel, but it is also great with other desserts. Recommended serving temperature is 7-9 ºC.

Producer information

Mészáros Borház is a 120-year-old family winery, which is still owned by the Mészáros family. They can boast several awards, for example in 2012 Mészáros Borház was voted Winery of the Year by the National Council of Wine Regions, the Hungarian Wine Academy and the Hungarian Association of Grape and Wine Producers. In 2016, Pál Mészáros was named Winemaker of the Year by the Hungarian Wine Academy, and in the same year Mészáros Borház also won the "Most Beautiful Vineyard in Hungary" award.

"I can remember back to my great-grandfather, although my grandparents, parents, everyone was involved in grapes and wine. My great-grandfather was the most successful, he already had the grapes replanted 3-4 times and made selected wines. Moreover, he had a crusher that also destemmed.
