It is characterized by an extremely dark ruby color, fruity and spicy aroma. 2009 was a very dry, rainless autumn, which helped to create a great red wine. The Vili Papa Cuvée, following the traditions of the wine, is characterized by rich content, fullness, and roundness. Its potential is around 20 years. Protected origin, quality dry red wine. Producer information
The Thummerer family business has been engaged in viticulture and winemaking since 1984. Our wines, sparkling wines, and pálinkas are made from the yield of 100 hectares of our own vineyards located in the Eger Wine Region.
The center of the winery is located in Noszvaj, 12 km from Eger.
The 2000 m2 former manor cellar was carved into the volcanic tuff rock by hand over 100 years ago, which was expanded in 2004 with a new 2200 m2 tuff cellar system.

• The founder of the winery, Vilmos Thummerer. Member of the Hungarian Wine Academy and the Pannon Wine Guild, which brings together Hungary's leading winemakers.
• In 1995 he won the title of "WINE PRODUCER OF THE YEAR".
• The winery won the "WINERY OF THE YEAR 2011" award.
• Thummerer Winery "HUNGARY'S MOST SUCCESSFUL WINERY" in 2013 and 2017.
• The winery won the "MOST SUCCESSFUL FAMILY WINERY" award in 1994 and 1996.
• Later major awards: Eger Winegrower of the Year, Eger Wine Producer of the Year. Our wines have won valuable awards at both domestic and international wine competitions.
