Lajvér Szekszárd Cabernet Franc

The Lajvér stream valley provides a unique microclimate for our terraced vineyards with southern exposure. On the loess soil, every variety shows its maximum potential year after year. In the aroma, forest fruits, cherries and some chocolate, in the sip velvety tannins and pleasant acidity make it irresistible. It goes well with red, juicy meats, pâtés, chocolate desserts.

How is it made?

After careful selection and processing, the must of the Cabernet Franc grapes fermented in a steel tank. Part of it was aged in Hungarian oak barrels for 12 months. The end result is an elegant, restrained wine.

Product information
It is recommended to consume at 15-17 °C, it is advisable to open it 30-60 minutes before consumption.

Producer information
The thirty terraced plantations on the four tables perfectly adapt to the bed of the Lajvér stream, which provides a special and natural microclimate for the Lajvér winery estate. This means not only that there is a temperature difference of several degrees between the lower and upper terraces throughout the year, but also that the water content of the soil varies. The valley, as a natural wind tunnel, ventilates the foliage and bunches of the plantations, thus helping environmentally conscious viticulture. This diversity makes it possible for all twelve of their grape varieties to feel at home.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, after opening for 5-7 days, in a cool and dark place, sealed with a stopper.
