Product description
The Castello Danish Blue cheese enriches its fine, nutty flavour with the aroma of blue mould, with shades of marzipan and the soft bitterness of sourdough, an indispensable accessory for cooking and snacking. Castello Danish Blue cheese has blue mould veins. Inspired by Roquefort cheese, but made using homogenised cow's milk, which contributes to its stronger flavour. However, the cream in the milk perfectly balances this sharpness.

Castello cheese has been one of Arla's three main brands since 2006. The history of the delicious Castello cheeses dates back to 1893. The manufacturer is proud of the traditional craftsmanship that is still alive today, more than a hundred years later.
Castello is the heritage and tradition of creative cheese making. Innovative new cheeses, dozens of varieties, interesting flavours and unusual shapes - all of which tell their own unique story. They consider it their mission to reduce food waste, which is why they also strive to minimise packaging waste and food residues in their plant. In the interest of food waste, they worked with their chefs to turn yesterday's leftover pieces into today's taste experiences.
