La Baume Grande Olivette Alcohol-Free Rosé
La Baume Grande Olivette Rosé is a fresh, vibrant, and fruity alcohol-free rosé wine from France, from the Languedoc-Roussillon region. It captivates with its pale pink color and intense aromas of red berries, such as strawberry and cherry. Its taste is dominated by freshness, lightness, and balance, complemented by a slight spiciness. It is an excellent choice on its own or alongside light dishes such as salads, pasta dishes, or grilled fish.
Producer information
The winery's history dates back to 1880, when the Prat family purchased the estate, which they found abandoned after the phylloxera epidemic. Under the leadership of Jean Prat, the family undertook significant work to restore the vineyards, planting 100 hectares of vines. In the early 20th century, they opened their own shop in the heart of Paris, on the famous Haussmann Boulevard, to promote their wines.
The winery went through several changes of ownership until the Helfrich family took over in 2003. Joseph Helfrich, CEO of Grands Chais de France, modernized the winery, introducing international grape varieties, cool fermentation, and barrel aging. Under his leadership, Domaine de la Baume wines have won numerous international awards and are distributed worldwide.
