Bananas are the most popular fruit in the world, loved by millions of people because they are a healthy and natural food, containing no fat, sodium, or cholesterol, and are high in B6 and C vitamins.
Therefore, they are perfect as a main course, or as a perfect snack or energy source after intense physical activity.

Excelban bananas, belonging to the Cavendish variety, are grown on the best Ecuadorian plantations using new farming systems, and thanks to this attention, our bananas have that special taste and creaminess that makes them unique, and today they are the most famous and sought-after throughout the entire Libyan country.

Interesting fact

The largest banana plantations are found in the Middle East, Central and South America. When buying, choose firm, slightly green specimens, as bananas ripen further at room temperature!

Usage

It can be eaten raw, baked, grilled, but flour, flakes, and chips are also made from it. If you don't want to eat it raw, you can also make exciting desserts like banana bread.

Banana Bread / 4 servings

Ingredients:

  • 22 dkg all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 10 dkg sugar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 10 dkg butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 coffee spoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 medium bananas
  • 10 dkg dark chocolate

Preparation:

  1. Except for the chocolate, put everything into a large mixing bowl and mix until smooth with a stand mixer until you get a more liquid batter. If the bananas are too juicy, you can add a little more flour. (Some banana pieces will remain, these will blend nicely during baking.)
  2. Break the chocolate into small pieces and mix it into the batter.
  3. Grease and flour the loaf pan, then pour in the batter.
  4. Bake the banana bread at 180 C for about 45 minutes until done. Check with a skewer to see if it's baked through.

Storage

Store between 14-16 C°.
