Szafi Free millet-based pancake flour mix (gluten-free)

Gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, low-fat sweet or savory pancakes can be made with the Szafi Free millet-based pancake flour mix.

Suggested Use

Pancake Recipe (VEGAN)

Ingredients (for 5 pancakes)

• 100 g Szafi Free pancake flour mix
• 6 g sweetener (4x strength)
• 1 g salt
• 300 g room temperature Alpro almond drink (or water);

Preparation

1. Heat up a pancake pan.
2. Measure out the almond drink, add the salt and sweetener (or only the salt for savory pancakes).
3. Then add 100 g of flour mix and whisk until lump-free with a hand whisk.
4. Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.

Frying

Spray the pancake pan with oil, then heat to medium temperature.

Spread a portion of the batter in the pan, then fry the first side for approx. 2 - 2.5 minutes, and the other side for approx. 0.5 - 1 minute. (You can flip it when the edges of the batter curl up.)

Be careful not to let the pancake pan get too hot, because small holes can form in the pancake batter!

Storage

Store in a dry, cool place.
