Masseria Borgo dei Trulli-Vermentino 2024

This dry white wine is very popular in Italy, made from 100% Vermentino grapes in the Puglia region, Salento area. Grapes come from low-yielding vineyards, 15-25 year old vines, with a load of 2 kg per vine. Hand-picked at the end of September. Straw yellow in colour, with aromas of peach, lemon zest, mango, complemented by herbal notes. On the palate, in addition to the fruity notes, it shows a salty minerality, with fresh, well-balanced acids. Excellent as an aperitif, to accompany pasta dishes, shellfish, seafood, grilled white meats. Ideal serving temperature: 8-10 °C. Storage: in a cool place, away from light and heat sources. Once opened, it can be consumed for 2-3 days, stored in the refrigerator. Remove the stopper, cool to the right temperature and consume immediately.
