Olaszrizling has been established in Hungary for centuries, including in the Kunság wine region. This white wine with a pleasant floral scent and lively acids is a favourite of gourmet wine drinkers with its flavour reminiscent of bitter almonds.

Producer information

Their family has been engaged in viticulture and winemaking for generations. They currently farm 38 hectares of their own vineyards, most of which are located in Soltvadkert, with a smaller proportion belonging to Bócsa. They are proud of the Szarvaskút vineyard, where they have several hectares of contiguous land and produce the raw material for their premium wines. They produce exclusively Hungarian varieties or varieties that have been present in their region for a long time, such as: Irsai Olivér, Cserszegi fűszeres, Kövidinka, Generosa, Ezerjó, Kékfrankos. They process 8000 quintals of grapes annually.

Storage

Store in a dark, sealed place at 10-15 degrees, consume within 1-2 days of opening.
